Lecturer in Carpentry and Joinery (Temporary Cover)
Southport College
28 hours per week | Monday to Thursday | Fixed-term (4 weeks)

Southport College is urgently seeking an experienced Lecturer in Carpentry and Joinery to join our team on a temporary, part-time basis to provide sickness cover.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to deliver high-quality teaching and support to learners within our construction provision.

Key Details:

  • 28 hours per week
  • Working Monday to Thursday
  • 4-week temporary assignment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and practical carpentry and joinery sessions
  • Support and assess learners to achieve their full potential
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and productive workshop environment

Requirements:

  • Relevant industry experience in carpentry and joinery
  • Recent experience teaching within FE or similar
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
